These busy preschoolers become more competent, confident and independent every month! They are attempting to become autonomous as they vocally express their desire to wash, dress, feed themselves and improve their skills. They have become quite the little social human beings. They can play with a small group of children as well as interact and engage in conversation and imaginative play with others. As their attention spans expand they love to listen to longer storybooks and can play games with simple directions. Their fine motor skills are refining, so coloring, painting and crafts become broader. Building toys, manipulatives and large muscle toys are an important part of their world.
